ABOUT ME
Ms. Angela D. Price
I returned to the Atlanta area in 2013 where I am currently in my 5th year at Lindley Sixth Grade Academy. I am a proud product of Atlanta Public Schools where I attended Morris Brandon, Sutton Middle School and North Fulton High School.
I have 9 years as a 6 – 8 middle grades math teacher in the Houston Independent School District (HISD) in Houston, Texas. I also was a local school and district level Instructional Coordinator and Curriculum Specialist for grades 6 – 12.
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Business Administration from Florida A&M University, Tallahassee, Florida and my Masters in Educational Leadership from Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas.
Before entering the field of education, I worked 8 years in corporate America as a computer programmer, business analyst and project/program manager in various industries such as mortgage banking, telecommunication, IBM, Texas Instruments, the Sabre Company, and Enron. I had the the opportunity to live in Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Texas. I began my 2nd career as a math teacher in Houston, Texas after being released as a contractor in Corporate America.
